Right now one of my favorite bands is Diztort from Huntington Park, Ca. I want to help spread the word about this band. Here's an interview that I had the privilege of conducting. Please enjoy and tell all of your friends!

Can you introduce yourself and tell us your role in Diztort?

My name is Trent and I am the vocalist of Diztort.

How long has Diztort been a band?

Rik and I came up with the idea late in 2016 and we began to write in February of 2017. We played our first show on March 3rd in Visalia, CA.

Is there a significant meaning behind the cat seeing hell on the cover of your demo?

We had asked Gil to help us out by drawing something for the cover. He came up with that burning cat thing. To me it looked so different and bold; I thought it was the coolest thing ever. I guess it ultimately represents the majority of us being from small towns in central California. I am the cat, it is hot, it is hell.

I'm super stoked to see you guys play with Wild-Side and mil-spec! But I'm even more stoked to see you guys on the Suburban Fight Weekend. Can you tell me how that came about?

Madison mastered our demo. He asked us to play so I guess he liked it.

Do you guys have any shows planned after the Suburban Fight Weekend?

After suburban fight we don’t have much planned as far as playing shows. Were trying to put together an east coast run for this winter. In the meantime we are just going to be working on writing a record.

Besides the Advanced Perspective bandcamp. Does Diztort have any social media presence?

We have no social media presence. If you need to contact us you can email Advanced Perspective.

Are there any newer bands from your area that we should be listening to?

Yes! CONTROL is an insanely good band straight from Fresno/Pville. They are getting ready to record their demo pretty soon. When it does come out I suggest you check it out.

What are you playing on your PlayStation 4?

At the moment I have exclusively been playing GTA 5. If you are reading this and play GTA on PS4 add me: trentof2day.

Lastly  if there's anything else you would like to say, the floor is yours..

Shout out to all my friends. I love and support you through all circumstances. Be yourself.

There you have it folks, that is the interview. If you like what you read. Head over to the Advanced Perspective bandcamp to listen to the demo. Also starting this week is their summer tour leading into the Suburban Fight weekend. If you're anywhere near these dates I highly suggest you roll out and support all the bands! I want to give a special thank you to Peter for helping me put this together and to Trent for taking time to give me the interview.
